Sullivan Ventures is a commercial finance and acquisitions business working with established companies and their owners.
On the finance side, we arrange capital for businesses across a broad range of requirements, from working capital and acquisitions to property, development and specialist asset-backed lending. We work across the market to find the structure and lender that best fits the transaction.
Alongside finance, Sullivan Ventures acquires established, profitable businesses. We look for companies with strong foundations, capable people and opportunities to build further value through investment, operational improvement and strategic growth.
The two sides of the business are deliberately connected. Understanding how businesses are built, financed, acquired and ultimately valued gives us a different perspective on every transaction.

Commercial judgement
We look at the business behind the transaction: how it makes money, where the risks sit and what the capital is intended to achieve.
Straight answers
If a deal does not work, we say so early. A fast no is worth more than a slow maybe.
Relationships over transactions
We want to become the first call when a business owner needs capital, considers an acquisition or starts thinking about an exit.
Discretion as standard
Funding and acquisitions can be sensitive. Every conversation is treated accordingly, whatever the outcome.
Scott Sullivan
Scott Sullivan has spent nearly two decades building and operating businesses, most notably taking a specialist brokerage from a four-person operation to more than £50m in annual revenue, with a team of over 30 and operations across multiple international markets.
His experience also extends into lending. He was an early backer and co-founder of a specialist property finance business that went on to raise approximately £50m through the bond market for deployment into property lending.
Having spent much of his career on the borrower side of finance as well as building businesses himself, Scott has experienced many of the same capital decisions Sullivan's clients face: funding growth, managing working capital, refinancing debt and raising capital against assets.
Today, his focus is Sullivan Ventures: acquiring established, profitable businesses and helping business owners access the capital to acquire, grow and invest.
